Hi. This is my first attempt at a blog. It will not be a happy one. I'm going to use it to get stuff off my chest- stuff that ticks me off and gets me down. Later on I will give a little insight into myself and my life. But for tonight the reason I am feeling ticked off is because of internet dating. A little background- I work unsocial hours, there's only one pub in the village, and there seems to be a dearth of suitable women for a 43 year old divorcee. Plus the fact my confidence seems to get continually knocked so if it came to attempting to chat someone up I would probably screw it right up! Anyoldhow, the reason why I am particularly unhappy with internet dating right now- there really are many reasons!- is because a woman added me as a favourite so I sent a message. I get back a message saying she doesnt know how or why she made me a favourite- thanks love- and I was too far away!! In her profile she says upto 20 miles away- I'm 10 miles away FFS! Really are there any women on this here internet who really want a relationship with a decent bloke? As much as they all whinge that they can't find anyone, they seem to bypass the real honest decent blokes. Is it just me or are the majority of people on here just downright odd??
